Anything else ?

Looks like PP&L (Pennsylvania Power & Light) for electric.

For the others, maybe check with the local Chamber of Commerce. It's been so long since I bought my house that I forget how I found all that stuff out. But I only had to worry about the electric company.

If you're renting, your landlord can tell you. If you're buying, your agent should be able to supply you with this information.

Should be PP&L, note that here in PA who you buy the power itself from does not necessarily need to be the distributor. Google PA power choice. Stay away from the variable rate plans that may be cheaper.

Water
Should be American Water

Sewer
Duyea

Cable
Should be Comcast.

Garbage/Recyclable collection may be through private contractor.

If you go to their sites you can look up if they are provider.

Gas- UGI PNG
Electric- PPL Electric Utilities
Water- Pennsylvania American Water
Sewer- Duryea Borough and Lower Lackawanna Sewer Authority
Cable- Comcast; there are also satellite TV options like Direct TV
Anything else ? Trash pickup and recycling are handled by the borough. You buy a window sticker that shows your garbage bag limit. 1 bag/wk is $80 a year. They also use a reasonable sticker system for pick up of large items like furniture and mattresses
There are 2 volunteer fire companies
Thank goodness they finished the levee project. 5 years ago today we got wrecked from flooding by the Lackawanna River.
What street will you be moving to? We might end up being neighbors!

Much thanks

Hope this helps!

Best known (only?) spots are are Aurants (gastropub/restaurant) and Komenskis (kielbasi/butcher), and the Town Tavern, a decent local (but friendly) pub.
