Moving to Lake Wallenpaupak area. Looking for a good vet in the area. Stroudsburg area OK.

We have used Wallenpaupack on Rt6 and I hear Cherry Ridge is good and less expensive per my neighbor. When our dog passed the only vet open later in the day on Saturday was Hamlin...they were very kind and compassionate.

We have used the Hamlin Vet Clinic on Rt. 191 for several years. There is a new vet there and we have only seen him once, so I can't really tell you whether he will be OK. I have also heard some good things about the one on Route 6 near the dam and Cherry Ridge is good, but just a little farther away.

Cherry Ridge, outside of Honesdale, is very good and I recommend Dr. Platko specifically. She was terrific when our lab passed away.
