Thanks so much! It's too bad about the price. I don't go ever that way too often so I think I'd still go for a treat. I took my husband once and it seemed like the next day the roof blew off. He's been talking about them ever since, though.

Yea I go to that one for the meat...everything else I go to Weis for, or Wegmans if I can make the trip (everything is cheaper at Wegmans than at either of those two stores). But yes, the chicken at Thomas's is always on sale like that. I went this morning at around 8am though and was disappointed to find nothing but pork chops on their shelves....what is this-- the trend went from making french toast during snow storms to making shishkebobs?

Snow storms create pandemonium in NEPA. People were practically pouncing on me like piranhas today when I was bringing out a new pallet of ice melt! My question to them is "If you knew this storm was coming for so many days in advance, then why did you wait until the flakes started falling to prepare?!" LOL!

A blog I came across on the web, about the milk-bread-eggs phenomenon, apparently its not just a NEPA thing:
a big victory: the legend of milk, bread and snow (http://abigvictory.blogspot.com/2008/12/legend-of-milk-bread-and-snow.html - broken link)

http://www.universalhub.com/french-toast

Why don't people sock up on other things? Like chips, dip, cookies, pizza, lunch meat for the bread, coffee, tea? I don't get the whole milk-bread-eggs thing.

Back to the wings, the best wings in NEPA can be found at the Windsor Inn in Jermyn, and they also have a takeout in Dickson City.

Sabatini's Pizza in Exeter has great wings. I prefer my wings crispy rather than "soggy", and these wings are crispy with an excellent sauce.

I love Sabatini's food, funny they were such a failure in Chinchilla. I guess back to poor management !! But then again their food was not good at that location either. Go figure !!
