i noticed on route 6 going from hawley to honesdale there is all kinds of construction going up where that unique little building is that sits on the roof of another. anyone know whats going up there?

That is the new Rusty Palmer building. The old one had burnt down over a year ago. It will also have the garage mix candy, a bar and restaurant, parts counter and all the atv etc showroom. It is a massive building and the log home on the roof does make you look twice while driving past.

Also interesting to note is that a new hotel is going to be built later this year next-door to the Home Depot, pending final approval. It will be a chain hotel of sorts, although the developer hasn't released what (I'd assume perhaps a Comfort Inn).
