My father works for TMG Health in Jessup, which is a large employer. I’d see if they had any job openings.

That depends on what you're seeking as pay....decent paying I/T jobs are no where to be found up here in NEPA that pay in the $50K or more yearly....for jobs paying that kind of money you'll have to search down in Philly....maybe if you provide more details in what type of job in I/T and pay you're expecting we'll have a little better idea....I commute 1-1/2 hours each way to my job in I/T in New Jersey....the biggest employer in Swiftwater, PA is Aventis (makers of the flu vaccine) on Rt. 611 but their I/T department is outsourced so no permanent employment there with them.....

Desktop Support = Helpdesk in other words.....you can find work in those fields with a company (most likely an outsourcing company) or you can do it remotely as well....there are many desktop support positions if you don't mind working remotely and have an unused room setup for it....you won't get remote desktop support positions if you don't have that....for some companies it's mandatory to have....that said I suggest trying Flexjobs....if working remotely is not for you then I suggest Glassdoor.....just Google "freelance" or "remote support jobs" and you should get a good sample of sites to chose from....the website for Forbes magazine also has done articles on freelancing also so you may wanna check there....drop me a DM if you need more suggestions....Good Luck!!
