We moved to Masthope (Lackawaxen) in early April. I just wanted to thank everyone on City Data who has helped me with all the decisions I needed to make these past few months. From location, developments, gutter guys, orthodontists, schools, inspectors, etc. you have all been so very helpful to my family and I really appreciate it. We are enjoying our time here so far. What a relief when the kids got off the bus that first day and said how much they love their new school (Wallenpaupack). I personally enjoy Hawley and Honesdale very much. I love their Main Streets. Last weekend I took my older daughter and my 2 year old twins to Main Street in Honesdale to check out Van Gorder's furniture. We stopped at the park located across the street from the Wayne County Courthouse. Wow, what a beautiful scene! Kids playing on the playground, riding bikes, a couple with their infant child having a picnic in the park.....it was really nice. Glad to finally be here.

Thanks again everyone!

Welcome to the Pocono's! My brother used to live where you now do, and I always enjoyed the drive through there. It is so quaint and charming!! Good luck with all you do here!
