Looking to move into the Dallas, Pa area (near the Twin Stacks) and was wondering if the local TV stations have a broadcast antenna in the area. I'd like to avoid Comcrap cable TV if possible, as we don't watch a whole lot of TV as to where it makes it unreasonable to pay their $$.

Directly in back of the ridge that separates the Wyoming Valley from the "back mountain," reception can be a problem. You should not have a problem near the "twin stacks," which years ago was known as Natona Mills and then Native Textiles.

You'll need an antenna on the roof for best reception and you'll have to buy an antenna that picks up both UHF and VHF.

This is one of the best for outdoor antennas and this particular one is for 70+ mile range:

This is better and has a built in "tenna rotor."
