The problem w/ the Old Forge pizza arguement is people see it as round style vs square. While Old Forge pizza does not taste like Sicilian, NY, Chicago, CA etc. style it's all it's own style and taste. When I am in the mood for round I go to Tony's in E'burg, square La Roma in Effort and Old Forge style Revello's.

Not hijaking the thread honest

I wasnt pitting old forge pizza vs. ny pizza, I was merely stating that a real italian prefers real pizza, thats all. id eat old forge pizza if I was starving, but its certainly not a preference.

But this thread isnt about pizza, the person asked about italian areas

It's all personal preference, like I said I am a real Italian American, grew up on pizza in NY, I love Old Forge pizza just as much as a round or Sicilian pie.
