coartist, this may be slightly off topic, but now that Jim Dandy's is gone, do you or someone else know what business will be occupying that space?

I remember going to Coney Island when I was a teenager and saw a bunch of dudes breakdancing on cardboard. The saltwater air was strong yet somehow refreshing.

If Clarks Summit has anything that can bring that Nostalgia back to us I am all for it.

This has already been discussed in some detail, depends on what you consider original. What's more important, a family tie and the authentic taste, or a burned out location where the original coney used to be? I don't think the Lackawanna crew has any plans to expand their business, I'd have to say it's Tom Moran, who hasn't seen any profit while being closed.

I don't think that will happen....Olive Garden and Red Lobster are already in Dickson City, only a few miles away....they won't also locate in Clarks Summit. But I wouldn't doubt seeing other chains that we don't yet have in the area coming to Clarks Summit along Rts. 6/11.
