Agreed. Not only the least expensive, but also the best first step. Be prepared to tell them who performed the most recent survey and let the surveyors see if they can work it out.

Get a hold of the original surveyor and explain all to him,I'm sure he has dealt with this before and may be able to give you advice.I would not get a lawyer involved unless there is a dispute.

Our surveyor charges $575. He also does perc tests, and septic designs, as well.

Thanks,I was thinking of having one done myself,not that I have had any problems,just to make sure the bounderies are correct.

There is a really good surveyor in Lake Ariel, Maka Survey. Mr. Hennings is reliable, honest and charges about $300.00. He does a great job and marks the land very well. We had checked out others that were over $500, which I found to be excessive.

I guess I shouldn't feel offended but I did when I saw that pink marking and the metal stake it totally ticked me off...
