If so do you happen to know anything about the new Rusty Palmer building? It has a full sized log house on top. Is that the new cafe? A spec house? Someone living there? I'm just so curious and no one seems to know!

I'm curious about that too! My guess is that it's a spec house, but that's just a guess. Please tell if you find out.

If you go on their web site, their is a pic of the house on top of the new building. All it says is "Rusty's Home Away From Home". I guess you have to go there and check it out for yourself. It looks pretty cool though.

I, too, drive by that on a regular basis and have often wondered about it. I just want to climb up there sometime with my better half and claim it as our "Love Shack!"

There was a story on it in the newspaper a few months ago. The log cabin is actually covering something like an elevator shaft and is only there for decorative purposes.

I've seen it, too...and I found myself wondering if the owner still had to buy that mandatory flood insurance.
SWB...please, my man. Stop injecting sex and/or preference into every single thread. You have plenty to contribute without bringing up private stuff.

If nothing else, I think Rusty Palmer has received a very desired effect from the cabin---stirring up attention for the business.
