I like my hot toddy with just whiskey and water. Oh it also depends on the whiskey ; I rather Paddy whiskey but you can only get it in Ireland. Otherwise its Jameson.

Baileys ; that is great with cream. Or there is a great cream drink called West African ; it comes in a leopard bottle.

I stocked up my liquor cabinet for the winter recently.

Ok Dorothy..........You can tell how much I drink?
I do like a Whiskey Sour out of the BOX mix, once in a blue moon.
Somebody made a good drink for me one cold winter.......
That Baileys with cream, Kalaua, lots of ice, and.........
It was sippable, and nice for by a fireplace... Ah...Is it winter yet?

When I lived in Toronto, we went horse riding in the winter a few times ; snow and all.

But we would go into the stable after a good horseride and have a hot rum. It was delicious and 20 years later I still remember how good it was.

Can you tell I like to drink also.

I noticed a quite a few leaves changing along hwy 6 before I left for the weekend. Working all day out in 105 degree heat in California today really makes me appreciate how nice we have it in PA.

You all can rest easy, my Dad is an Italian drinker while my Irish Mom was born of a Meade drinking family. Certainly a recipe of sorts LOL.

Keep those pix coming!!

Every morning at 6AM here it's been 82-84 degrees. This morning we got the "downdraft" of Hanna & it's a BEAUTIFUL 68 dry degrees!!!

Yesterday my partner bought me a gallon of apple cider, so between that, the cool temps this morning & the fact that Starbucks has started making their Pumpkin Spice Lattes(), I'm in a "Fall-kinda" mood!!!

Over yonder in western PA, the maple tree leaves began changing in mid-August, even though it was still very warm, day and night. Maples are apparently stressed this year because of the heavy rain this summer.

Every fall, I think of football, apples, PA and route 6. Is there a better place to see foliage than the northern tier of PA?
