Yes...Dunkin Donuts was supposed to come to Hamlin...right in the vicinity of The Hideout...but Hamlin doesn't have sewers...and whenever something 'good' seems to be coming Hamlin's way...this is always the thing that puts a squash in the plans.
They even had an artist's rendition drawing in the paper....
Aslo...many Dunking Donuts here no longer make their donuts on the premises...they are shipped from other stores.
As far as the coffee...you can buy it in the local supermarkets now...my husband saves and washes the cups...then you really have the real thing!
McDonalds coffee is pretty good.....
Hey..you'd be surprised at the things you miss when making a move...Dunkin Donuts might end up being the LEAST of them!!

Yes. It is part of the new Wilkes building along South Main Street.

Both are good, but I'll give the edge to Krispy Kreme, especially with KK's hot glazed donuts.

MMMMM!!! I wish they'd open a store in Pittston. I'd be there daily (as would my expanding waist line).

You're right, McD's coffee is pretty good anymore. It used to be horrible, but since they changed to that "premium blend" or whatever they call it, its not bad at all. Plus, at some locations, its only 69 cents for any size. I know at the McD's in Wilkes-Barre on Northampton St its 69 cents, but not at the one on Rt 6 by the Viewmont Mall. I was surpised when they charged me $1.40 or whatever, since I was used to paying them 74 cents for a large coffee in W-B.

The gas station by my daughters school has bagels but they are the premade frozen type you stick in the microwave never the same
