Oh, I'd probably love that book for sure. But, if it has a sad ending........
I really can't handle sad endings.
Our friendly deer came walking up to us after we were gone in Myrtle Beach for three months.........met us in the driveway. It took our breath away.
I never fed her that much, because I wanted her to always go forging for her food.
She had the biggest eyes, that always looked up into our widows above to see if we were noticing she was there.

Not a deer expert but that is a whitetail deer in vevlet. Deer become easily habituated to people-especially when food is involved.

I wonder if that deer was raised by those people, simply because the dogs can get so close? In any case, they are cool photos.
