Looks like another two people were stabbed (http://scrantontimes.com/articles/2008/10/18/news/doc48f95fef66932928419730.txt - broken link)in the city last night. There is really not much to say, other then it speaks volumes about the current state of the city. Buy hey we don't need police when we have Nay Aug and the 500 Block right.

I know that I would want to buy a loft in a city where you get stabbed going for your morning paper or just walking down the street.

But hey we have a treehouse.....

We also have a bridge to nowhere, the country's most expensive dog park and a dramatic rise in crime. Good work Chris Doherty, you really have the interests of the citizens at heart. Everyone's pride is restored.

Sure, I could use that centavo! I still think Stabton will get beat by Kills-Barre.

So you took a job in Hartford? Keeping the thread somewhat on topic, though, that looks like a higher crime rate than either of our two cities here../

Hartford? I just saw the crime stats, and 31 murders last year for a city of only 124,000. And we're talking about crime in Scranton and Wilkes-Barre??? Definitely need a LTCF in Hartford..... Plus, I also saw that the median income in Hartford is $27,000......that's less than Scranton, yet the average home price is a lot higher....sounds like bad news.

Now, maybe this changes for other jobs but chef jobs here pay the same as anywhere. For Accounting I don't know but I bet when you factor in the higher costs of living it is the same.
