I don't reside in this district, but if I did I would have voted to re-elect Dr. Carney. He's actually quite an intelligent man---a college professor and an active member of our armed forces. He's only had one term in office thus far, so of course he hasn't been able as of yet to do anything high-profile to help our region; what "clout" does he have?

With the negative campaign that Mr. Hackett ran I wouldn't touch that guy with a ten-foot pole!

I agree. Now that old man Kanjorski has been re-elected, I wish Scranton was still in the 10th district where it belongs. The funny thing is that the redistricting was done by the republicans to try to keep the 10th in the hands of the Republicans (Sherwood), and now there's a 2-term democrat in the 10th in Carney. Please? Can we go back to the 10th? Let Luzerne County suffer with their buddy Kanjorski from "a couple too tree miles down da line in NANNY-coke."
