I still don't like it, when the government has to bail out failing companies. If they made better products, this would probably fix itself.

The issue is better products at the right price, i only went to foreign cars because to me they represented the better value for my money.

went to nissan and bmw and dont regret it for a second

Yes, I don't buy American cars either. I think foreign cars are a better value and are better made. The American car companies should have done something about this years ago to try and better themselves and now we're stuck with bailing them out. I don't think so!!!

yep, while american car companies made poor small cars and hoped we would trade up to something more profitable foreign manufactures were making great loaded small cars with better performance. look how long it took american companies to trade the flashier paint and more chrome for radial tires. radials were standard on most foreign cars for years.
