If this helps. Goose island is in the area south of the main street and blackman (scary) turkey hill store, very small area. The iron triangle is kind of considered to be the area down hazle street near the other (scary) turkey hill on w-b bld and hazle. Rolling mill hill ,where i live, is the whole section along blackman from the mainstreet turkey hill to vinos subs , includes the neighborhood behind angelos etc to ashley border. Mayflower is from south street to blackman, empire to park ave/wb blvd. And finally the heights is coal street to south street, w-b blvd to empire. as others have said all these boundaries are loose. I always thought districts in cities was kind of cool, i never saw it much on the west coast until the last 2 decades. these areas of course started by ethnic, minority groups settling in different parts of a city with their own stores, cultures and "main streets"

Go to this site from the US Post Office, put in your zip code and it will tell you the areas it covers:

https://tools.usps.com/zip-code-look...?citybyzipcode

or you could just ask your neighbors what the name of the area you just moved into without knowing beforehand is called.....

Maybe South Wilkes-Barre. South W-B isn't south of the city, but WSW. Or SW. I used to know that.

I'm pretty sure you are right on the edge of Rolling Mill Hill. Your trash pickup would be Wednesday

I haven't heard anyone mention Rolling Mill Hill in decades. Post #12 mentions the Mayflower section. I remember those, but was always a bit foggy about the boundaries.

According to my IPhone chef key when I snapped a picture you are correct it’s Rolling Mill Hill. Trying to look up by postal code 18702 does not help like the other person suggested and yes trash pick up is Wednesday thanks
