I never played football there but I remember getting in trouble for hunting crayfish in the creek near the lower playground. Funny how I can remember all of the teachers from Grove St., but from nowhere else after we moved away. My favorite was Mrs. Nelson (3rd grade) and she moved in two house from me so she was my neighbor too.

I wonder if Nelson Street in The Summit is named after her family?

I remember Mrs Nelson...I had Mrs Kincel for Third...
That was a great school....Somebody mentioned Don's market before. Mr. Fanucci, who was my teacher as well in middle school, used to work there after he retired. he was one of the nicest people i ever met. Hope he is enjoying retirement.

I remember the Falls-Overfield School! I didn't go to school there, but remember attending the "fair" they used to hold on the grounds...I often tell my son the story of how my crab apples won a first place ribbon and about the year I hounded my Dad until he bought me this black hen that I had for a pet for years.
