We went last night, and it was a blast! I couldn't believe how practically empty it was. I figured it would be packed since it was so warm last night (upper 30's) and with the kids being out of school, but we didn't have to wait more than a minute each time we got to the top of the slopes. They have this new "magic carpet" ride that you just stand on with your tube and it takes you up the slope.....It was really neat. It was a bit pricey ($24 for a 3-hour pass), but worth it for how much fun it was

After that, we headed north to Fresno's in Dickson City for dinner (we heard they served fried ice cream there). It was soooooooooo good, I highly recommend it for some good southwestern fare (yummy nachos and fajitas)

Its amazing how good the valley looks in the dark from Fresno's, its almost like its somewhere else....The mountain will be dead, nobody with a brain is skiing on this melt then freeze ice......Our ski season doesn't get good until Feb and then its over as quick as it starts...

Yes, we did have a great view.... I wouldn't know anything about skiing (tried it once and never made it past the rope tow ), but the conditions were great for tubing!
