....I know I am probably YEARS late with this, but long before i found these forums and after my move back to NJ in 2004, I made a visit to that area sometime around 2005-2007 and saw that Mr. Z's on main street in Peckville was abandoned and shut down. This is the building right across from A&A Auto Parts...before moving to clarks summit, i lived in Jessup...and I used to shop at Mr. Z's all the time. Does anyone know what happened to that store? Kinda sad to see it go...much like Jim Dandy's in Clarks Summit and when Amore was Sabatini's in clarks summit...

Mr. Z's in Peckville is now Planet Fitness.....a gym. I never really liked Mr. Z's, although at least the Peckville location was somewhat clean....the Mr. Z's in Southside is one of the dumpiest stores I've ever seen.

A crowded market, I guess....too many grocery stores around. Once the Giant opened up just down Main Street in Dickson City, I think that was the beginning of the end for Mr. Z's.
