It was a special hour-long episode, and man was it ever hilarious!

I AM SOOOOOOO BUMMED! I had no idea. DAMN! I wonder if On Demand from Comcast is running it under their tv selections for 99 cents. I've ordered reruns of the Office that way in the past.

i just LOVE the show. Steve Carell has created such a genuine trainwreck of a character; brilliant. Totally different from Ricky Gervais, but I like his original character as well.

I'm not a huge tv person, really. I watch Top Chef, Animal Cops (they have a Philly episode now) and the Office mainly. Man...I have to go investigate.

I love the Office. My Thursday night trio of My name is Earl, Office and 30 Rock keep me laughing.

Thanks so much for that link - I set my DVR to record the episode Sunday night and because the Super Bowl coverage ran long I missed the last 10 minutes of it!!

That episode was one of the best ever - so funny!

No problem. I would have hit the same snag, but cleverly recorded the news program after the office as well. <pats self on back>

Favorite line, Creed: "That's where I know you from, you were in the parking lot before." or something like that.

The Office is actually the ONLY show I watch on TV each week. I think it is head & shoulders above any other show on TV (unless the other shows have improved since I quit watching, which I doubt).

My rationale:

The writing and acting is top notch. All of the awkward pauses are one the best elements of the show.
The ensemble cast is one of the best ever assembled on network TV.
No laugh track. I don't need to be told when to laugh.
Attention to detail -- all the little details on the set help give the show a very realistic feeling, Michael Scott's behavior not withstanding...
