Default Very Nice!

I joined the group! I use Facebook mainly to post photos. I just posted 96 to "The Archives!" I have a few other unusual groups of pics. Please help yourself!

I use both. Myspace is fun, although it's geared for the younger folks. I find it easier to use and much "prettier"(customizing graphics and such). Since everyone was jumping on the Facebook bandwagon, I gave it a shot. It kind of feels a bit more "sterile"(for lack of a better word), but it's growing on me now. Some of the apps are silly, but Mafia Wars is addictive!

The group sounds like fun!

Hey I just joined the group! I use FB to keep in touch with my sister since she doesn't like myspace.

Oh and I don't drive a green VW, a red Neon actually is mine. Though I had some guy the other day telling me he saw me in my gray car, lol.

I am on facebook, but to tell you the truth.......I don't like how it works...
The design of it. ( Oh please facebook webmaster don't frown on me...)
What I don't like is........It gives me people I don't know...What they say and what they are doing.
Nope, I did not ask for that......
It isn't putting my very own cousin on even though I wrote her correct address to invite, and SHE asked me to put her on mine.....So whats up with that?
It feels unorganized. CD is very organized.......What we can do here is properly placed and works great.
So even though I'm there on facebook, I get overwhelmed with all the strangers in my mist and so I don't stay that long.....
I do love that I was invited by my daughter and her friends, and that all of us at times are there.....
Its just that it should work better. More writing space, and without the " Summering is....." starting it.

That's my main problem with it too. If I comment on my friend's status, I don't need to be notified everytime one of their OTHER friends that I don't know comments on their status too....it's too much! I went into settings and made it so that my friends won't be notified when I comment on other people's pictures, profiles, etc., but I wish there were an option where you can control what YOU see as well.

It's boring until you get going. My husband has a blast going on his friend's profiles and posting bizarre comments on their pictures. And just last week he had a flame war going on his page due to a political comment he made for his status update...that was then replied to by two "former friends" who had definite axes to grind and it was the craziest thing.

Like anything else, it's exactly what you make of it. I like seeing everyone's status updates and commenting on their pages - the comments are easier to see and read than on myspace because it's just text. The picture graphics that people keep using on myspace get old REALLY fast, especially when they hog up the page and take forever to load.

If you go to the right side of their post, you can choose to SEE LESS OF "ABC PERSON", then you won't get so much of that. I have acquaintances who I do that with.... hope this helps!
