Hey all, was working on the purchase of a home in Pocono Summit and unfortunately there was an issue with the house needing an easement and resulted in the deal falling through. That said I have been looking for home #2.

I found one I really like in Alpine Lake in Henryville and was wondering if anyone either lived there or knew anything about the community. It seems really nice but I am of course always curious. Also I was curious if anyone had a copy of the by-laws for the community. I want to make sure it's a good fit before committing to anything. The website for the HOA does not have the rules and regs.

Thanks in advance for any assistance/advice!

Mike

Sorry I wrote and the computer locked up........
If it is Timber Hill that always seemed like a nice area, I almost bought there myself.
Up by the skiing slope is interesting. I was there in the summer and spring, and I wondered if it got very cold up there at that high location.
I never heard anything bad about the area and its close to downtown, a shortcut to the area of 611 and all the stores in that location.
So, spend some time there, speak with some neighbors.......
I don't know if things have changed or not in the past few years, but it was very nice with no bad information coming from that location.
