Being "collateral damage" shouldn't be amongst them. The residents of Butler Heights should be mindful of the rapid growth in the township as being inevitable, but, on that same token, that shouldn't mean their quality-of-life should be "at-risk." Both developments can co-exist nicely, assuming the developer delivers on all promises. If not I'm sure the HOA will be taking action.

The residents are not collateral damage yet. If that occurs, they should get a lawyer.

Living next to a super Wallmart, regardless of fence height, is a definite compromise of quality of life.

No one could see the far-flung future, but building/buying a home "on the line" should always be a consideration when buying residential property.

Promises for adequate fencing, landscaping, water retention, and other issues weren't addressed as of the last time I spoke to people in this neighborhood of about 30 homes. 99% of Butler Heights residents have been supportive of the project; they just wanted it done correctly.
paul==walmart fences around their properties are built only with much pressure from the nearby community and do not keep the riff raff away(especially if it is a 24 hr store)----if the homeowners unite there may be some positive results

Taylor is set to open on Nov.10. I will be there a lot, now that I don't have to go to Dickson City.
