To bad that was my favorite Mexican restaurant

Does anyone no why it closed or if their sister restaurant 'La Tolteca' in
Wilkes-Barre is still open?

La Tonalteca (sp?) is in Dickson City. Mi Tolteca is in Moosic. La Tolteca is in Wilkes-Barre.

Wilkes Barre location and Dickson City location are not related! Wilkes Barre is much more authentic.

The La Tonalteca in Dickson City and the La Tolteca in Wilkes-Barre have the same owners. But I have heard the Dickson City location is a little different...I think Tex-Mex as opposed to Mexican. I was at the Mi Tolteca in Moosic a couple of times and it was identical to the Wilkes-Barre location.

The Wilkes-Barre location is not closed. It is doing very well from what I can see. I eat there probably twice a month, and they are always very busy. They have great authentic Mexican food, and it is very affordable.

so is the Moosic location closed then? I go there for lunch once almost every week. They just celebrated their 1 year anniversary.

Bummer, that was a good place..

La Tonalteca in Dickson City is part of a small chain based south of the border (the PA/DE border).. lastoltecas.com - Authentic Mexican Restaurant
click at your own risk-- background music!

I'd heard that Mi Tolteca and La Tolteca in WB were the same owners. (I suppose they could have owned the local La Tonalteca franchise too..) Confusing, all these names are too similares.

Well so far I'm excited to see that NoVA has both Wegman's and M&T Bank. I wonder if it has any Mexican places as good as La Tolteca?
