Maybe you're thinking of the playground at the end of Dorothy St. in Tripps Park--there are ball fields up there. It is a pretty nice playground, and that's where we usually go. It's just a bit far for a quick jaunt in the stroller to expend some energy, and far from usual lunch spots, etc.
I grew up in Danville & lived there until I got married & then moved to the thriving metropolis (that's sarcasm) of Turbotville.
I can't for the life of me think of the name of the street the ball park is on. I go down Washburn (toward Keiser) and cross over the RR tracks, go around the curve & keep going straight (while Washburn turns up to the left.) It's dead ahead of you. If you pass it, it'll continue up to a red light on Keiser.
It probably would have been easier to just mapquest it, but oh well.

I'll have to try the critter ridder! We've got skunk families around here. Last summer I watched a family of 6 playing in my front yard & around our cars. I think the whole neighborhood stood & watched the skunks "playing."

That's the Lackawanna Little League field.....its Jackson Street.

Is that playground in OK shape these days? I know they had some problems with vandalism there.

Ah, yeah, have only driven by that park up on Jackson, but haven't been in the playground.

I don't know if it's comforting or more disconcerting to know how widespread the skunks are. 6! Sounds kinda cute.

I spoke to my landlord yesterday about putting down the fox urine...she said she has a guy that sprays for insects and skunks...?

WTF? We had one under the front porch last year, I never saw anyone but her boyfriend trying to deal with it. She said the whole neigborhood had the problem...I was thinking yeah I know that...but I wanted to avoid us having a problem this year!

I can not wait to own my own house again!
