FYI Wilkes-Barre's annual Cherry Blossom Festival is this Saturday and Sunday from 11:00am-7:00pm at beautiful Kirby Park in the city. The event features lots of live music and entertainment, amusement rides and games, a small petting zoo, and dozens of food vendors. You can also bring a fishing pole for the pond. it is suppost to be beautiful this weekend, with temps. in the 80's. So if you're looking for something to do this weekend, then come down to Kirby Park and celebrate springtime!! Enjoy!

the cherry blossom festival was always one of my favorites. it was a good place to find your old friends as the worked their way out of hibernation. it also meant that bazaar season was coming up as well...

Is it just me, or has it been getting progressively worse the past few years? I don't think I'll be able to attend this year because of work and other plans, but it just isn't like it used to be.
