Is it a good place for kids and what activities do they have in the wintere time? There seems to be a lot of newly built houses for sale at a good price.

I HIGHLY recommend WLE. There is much to do for children and adults. Anything else you want to know just DM me. They also have a web site. Just goggle WLE

Keep in mind, there are two different communities, Lake Wallenpaupack Estates (website) & Wallenpaupack Lake Estates (website)...

Thanks Trip for rectifying that. The latter Lake Wallenpaupack Estates is not mentioned as much as Wallenpaupack Lake Estates.

WLE has very tight security.....whatever you pay for dues in that community it is well worth it, the services are unmatched per most communities I have witnessed. WLE seems to be a great family oriented community to be in....nice homes & well kept by both property owners & the HOA.

I second everything you said. One of the best communities, they are more like a family. Good leadership and nice people.........very tight knit supportive community and really warm people.
