How are you suppose to sample wings from about 12 different vendors when for your admission of $10 you only got a coupon for 1 wing from 1 vendor!

Wingfest was from 2-7, I got there at 4 and the beer sampling was finished.
So no beer with my admission either (as they were advertising)

So all my $10 got me was 1 wing and I had to pay to sample the rest at 3 for $1.

I guess they need all that money to finish that water park (the concrete isn't even poured for the wavepool yet!) Don't know how it is going to be finished this summer

The least they could have done is gave you a coupon to sample 1 wing from each vendor!!! But that would cost to much money.

I will never go back to that rip-off!!!

Still it's a rip off. For $10 admission you should have gotten a chance to sample all of the wings.

You mentioned the water park. It amazes me how long projects take to get off the ground and then get completed here in NEPA. This would never happen in NY. I remember when I was growing up on Long Island, when they announced a project, it was up before you knew it. It's just the attitude up here or these projects keep running out of money. I just don't know what the problem is.

Its because everything revolves around politics here...every one of these projects is nothing more than a scheme by some politician to make themselves and their cronies rich with our tax money.

Pay to play, Doherty like tactics. I knew it, just didn't want to say it. I'm sure it goes on in other places like Long Island, just not to the extent it does up here.

Well, I agree and disagree.
at 3 for $ you could sample all 12 of them for $4.00. Plus you would have received a free one and a beer that would usually cost about $6.0O at most outdoor venues. Compare that to what is below and you will see the real deal. You paid just about the going rate.

I live in WA
The last time I bought a package of 12 wings it was almost $7.00-uncooked! Add the cost of the sauce which is another $4.00 and that is almost a dollar a piece.
The last time I went to KFC and ordered the hot wings, it was 7 pieces for $4.00. A hot wing at KFC is only one of the wing joints so it equaled 3 1/2 wings for that price.
In the average restuarant an order of wings is about $8-10 for 12 wing joints that is equal to 6 wings.
The last time I went to the local county fair I wanted to get a couple of fried chicken wings for lunch. They were $2.50 ea!. yipes

It's all highway robbery, maybe it's better to become a vegetarian.

It still would have cost $14 for 12 wings. $10 admission and $4 for the 3 for a $1 samples. And that's without a beer. Actually, one of those wings were free because you got a coupon with admission as stated. I don't know, all these numbers seem confusing and I never was good at math, but it does seem like a lot of money to eat wings.

Usually an order of 10 hot wings is around 6 bucks. This wingfest sounds like a rip-off to me.

Sounds like a BIG rip off. Some places even offer wing nights where they're 10 cents a wing.
