I have been hearing some sobering stories about the new FOR PROFFIT management at the old General.
Like every one you see with a cumputer screen there has a cash box and you have to pay up front for everything.
Anybody have any personal experiance lately?

I haven't been to General Hospital since the new ownership, but If what you say is true, they won't be in buisness very long. They are not the only hospital in in city, and people can just as easily go to Geisinger which seems to be making serious strides lately. Thank god for competition!

Oh, my goodness!! They actually expect to be paid for their services?? Whatever will we do!!!

With all due respect, bluesguy, your post states you've been hearing sobering stories - as opposed to personal, first hand knowledge- and that's how rumors get started...Somebody hears it from his cousin's neighbor's boss's uncle and before you know it, wild stories are all over the place...

What do you say we wait until the new ownership has an opportunity to establish a reputation for itself? After all, this is not their first trip to the rodeo, since they are owners of a number of other facilities state-wide...
