Beautiful.

Im scared of deer though no matter how small they are. I guess it's because I've never been around them before until moving here. It's crazy how around here you can see a bunch of deer in your back yard. One time I seen 6 of them in broad daylight in front of someone's house and the side of the street drinking water. I was amazed. I just hope and pray that I never have to experience crashing into one of them while driving.

The mothers will leave their fawns to go forage for food and come back for them in a bit.

Reminds me of a funny story. My friend in CT has a lot of deer in her yard. One morning she gets ready for work and goes out to the garage to fetch her car and there's a baby deer 'hiding' next to the planters next to the garage. She didn't know what to do. Ended up calling sick to work rather than disturbing the deer to get her car out of the garage!

Beautiful! I have yet to see a deer down here in NoVA yet, but I've seen just about every critter imaginable (large spiders and insects keep making their way into my apartment, and I have to keep on scooping them up and dropping them back outside in the woods!)
