Bring The Killers, Franz Ferdinand, Muse, Modest Mouse, Coldplay, U2, Keane, or similar sorts of acts to Montage, and I might actually come back to Scranton to see a great concert at your venue! Keep bringing us dead-head-style acts, country, and classic rock, and I'm sorry to say my business will be going to Wolf Trap down here.

Check the facebook page, and go to the discussion board. See the 09 lineup post and you will see he is coming back.

And Scranbarre, we attempted coldplay. But those bands you named wont work at our venue. At the cultural center they would work. But those bands wouldnt be able to sell 10,000 tickets up here. Its the reality of our area.

Whoo hoo! I see that, but I don't see anything on Ticketmaster about it....do you know when those tickets go on sale?

U2 would sell 10,000 tickets in all of 0.4 seconds.

People from around the country would try to buy tickets for this venue. The reality is that it's not worth it to U2 to play in anything less than a huge stadium because they sell out every single show they play. So this venue is too small for a band like that.

U2 would, but look at every other band he posted. I didnt even read up to U2 because his first few were bad choices for Montage.

Neither will a the AAA franchise of the New York Yankees, at $8 a seat.

Personally, I'd like to see acts like OAR, Live, Ani DiFranco, Roger Waters. If you need a "festival" act, the Warped Tour has been here how many years in a row? I'm sure something like the "Stimulate This" tour would do well.

The reality of our area, Scran, is that country and 80s bands will outdraw every single band you've mentioned. U2 would be priced so far out of reach here.

Hey Paul, what's wrong with classic rock? That is what draws most of the fans. Those bands, except U2, don't really draw many fans and I can't stand U2. CrueFest was a success and it's coming back again this year. People want fun music that they are familiar with. I couldn't name one song from a lot of those bands you mentioned. I guess we like different styles of music Paul. Hey, at least you don't like that rap garbage, something we can both agree on.
