Try "The Papershop". You can pick one up at any Turkey Hill or other mini mart, and it's all local. Also, there are a lot of yard sales and garage sales this time of year on the weekends. If all else fails try out Big Lots or Ollie's on Kidder st by the blockbuster. They have really cheap stuff like that. I don't know if you'll get it as cheap as you want it, but they beat Walmart or anywhere else pricewise.

You can look online at www.thepapershop.com but it won't list the
prices unless you pay online or go buy a hardcopy. Still, it might
save you 90 cents if there's nothing in it you're interested in.

What kind of patio furniture? Resin, wicker, etc.? We just picked up 2 nice resin adirondak style chairs at Home Depot for less than $20 each. We also picked up 2 very nice lounge type chiars at K-Mart when they had them on sale for about &60 for 2. I have seen some nece sales at Wal-Mart, but not complete sets for that low---more like $150 for some chairs and a table. Not that that helps much---:0). Craigs list freaks me out since the last 2 nasty news articles. What about FreeCycle Media: FreeStuff and CycleStuff ??

If you are not picky I have a glass and metal table and 4 chairs. The chairs need cushions and there is no umbrella. Other than that it looks fine and you can have it if you want. the metal part is beige - very neutral.
i am on LI but you are welsome to the set.
It seats 4-5 comfortably (with the addition of a resin chair) and 6-7 uncomfortably ;-)

I think Donna meant freecycle.org (not .com).
Here's the local list: ScrantonPAFreecycle : Scranton PA Freecycleâ„¢ Group

There's also a local "tag sale" mailing list that has a lot of stuff for sale-- can't find where that is right now.

And, yard sales are a good bet, especially around the turn of the month when renters are clearing out. Picked up a couple wooden Adirondack-y chairs and side table for $20 last summer.
