I hope this and other projects come to fruition...the Intermodal facility looks very nice....and I assume that's a done deal.

That is nearing completion as well as the Gateway project at North and N.main sts. There's alot going on in the city right now. I also read that they are finally moving forward with that condo project along the riverfront in Pittston. That should breath new life into Pittston.

God I hope so, it really is a nice little city...especially the west side and that bridge is so cool lite up with fiber optics...one of only 3 in the nation if I remember correctly. I hope the water front park pans out...Wilkes-Barre's park with the portals looks great.

I think Pittston has a great location between wilkes-barre and scranton. They should capitalize on that. They should do a "little Italy" themed main st. New street lights, refurbish the buildings on Main st. Have quaint little Italian restaraunts and shops. Outdoor dining in the summer. If they could get some money, I believe pittston could become one of the best towns in the region. i guess the hard part is getting the money though.
