This looks pretty impressive (I'll bet it's pretty expensive too!). You have to wonder who can afford this lifestyle in the Wyoming Valley though. They must have done some research, and felt that it is a worth while endeavor. Anyway, it is a private venture so it is not coming out of our pockets...yet. I wish it good luck. It will be a great addition to the region, and will help modernize the skyline. Beacon Tower (http://www.thebeacontower.com/index.php - broken link)

Impressive, beautiful building;I assume the tower will be built south of Market Street? Let's hope the developers follow thru on this one, a fine and long overdue addition to Wilkes-Barre's skyline. ScranBarre should be pleased...LOL....

Hopefully the view of the Susquehanna river and the building's proximity to downtown Wilkes-Barre will entice buyers from a larger geographical area looking for an urban lifestyle.

I'm just not seeing this at all. I don't know what the prices are exactly, but if the insides provide any sort of clues, it looks like you're looking at somewhere around $2k/month. If they're cheaper, then you're going to suffer from poor construction and a lack of soundproofing.

People who can afford $2k/mo could get much better for their money outside of WB.
