I was just wondering if anyone knows a good coffee spot in Scranton. I always go to Dunkin donuts...of course there is Borders...but was wondering if there is a real great coffee house I am not aware of!

Thanks!

There's also one called the Electric City Roasting Co. that I've heard good things about...its somewhere in Green Ridge, but they also have a location in the Fidelity Bank at S. Main Ave. and Luzerne St. in West Side. I'll have to give them a try sometime.

loveinbloom...while not a 'coffee' house...I think Panera is a great place to meet and have coffee. No one rushes you out of there, they have comfortable seating, indoors and out, and a nice selection of yummy pastries..... Nice for meeting friends and just sitting and chatting for awhile. Then I bring a nice dessert home for the hubbie, and he's happy too!

I don't know about Curry. I stopped in the one in Plains twp. on my way home from work and asked for a Cappucino. They served me one from a instant cappucino coffee machine that you usually see at gas stations and 7-Elevens. Even Dunkin' Donuts and Krispy Kreme make their own cappucinos.
