can anyone tell me where i can find a rope swing into a river or lake i live in Effort.Thanx for your help

idk know if it's still there, but stadden's was a local spot that is in Bartonsville. Take 611 to Stadden Rd? Forgive me, I'm not sure if that's the name of the road at all, but if you turn at the Pocono Peddler's Village and continue down that road, the swimming area was on the right hand side. I'm pretty sure you had to swim across it to get to the swing. The whole idea of it is dangerous, but I remember going when I was much younger.

That rope is still there ..LOL I used to go there on nice days yrs ago ,, went by there last month ,Kids were there using it ..
