The only thing I can say is that, my father grew up there, and a few family members still live there. It's always been a nice neighborhood to visit.

Nice area just south of W-B city limits. Lee Park ave is the main street and it's bordered by division street which seperates hanover from W-B.

Cool Lee Park

Lee Park is quite a nice little section of Hanover. It is very diverse in religion, ethnic, ages, etc. There are some nice older homes there and also some nice older people as well. There are some stores-hairdresser, mini market, specialty stores. But you are very close to both downtown Wilkes-Barre, Nanticoke, and Hanover Twps "Urban Area"which is the crossroads-pharmacy, resteraunts, banks, strip malls. It is probaly one of the nicest sections of hanover and one of the older ones.

hello. after reading this post i decided to register and try to help with your question. i live in lee park, actually i live on lee park ave. this used to be such a great neighborhood up until 2 to 4 years ago. before then you knew everyone and watched out for everyone. not sure what happened, but lately lee park has getting more than it's share of hoodlems and lowlifes. hanover is still a great place to live, but i suggest checking out hanover green and lynnwood sections of the township. they are by far the nicest sections of hanover. good luck in where ever you decide to move.
