Don't know if you're interested at all in the Back Mountain area, (about 5-10 mins. north of Kingston) I'd recommend checking out Country Club Apartments in Dallas as well.

It's very suburban, with a couple rural areas....best school system in the area (don't know if you have kids), very quiet, little to no crime. It's about a 5-10 drive to Kingston and about a 15 min. drive to Wilkes Barre. I like it because it's quiet, but not far from the city if I want to go there....there are stores, restaurants, banks, etc. in the center of town so essentially you can find what you need right here, but the bigger stores are only a few mins. drive away.

I used to live in Oakmont. It was nice at the time and it is on the fringe of the city so you have the best of both nature and urban. Mgt. at the time was good also.
