Hello, I've recently purchased a home in the saylorsburg area. I'd like to know if there are any options for mass transit from the poconos to newark, nj.

No there are no options other than driving. There may be carpooling. I have 2 neighbors that commuter everyday there, unfortunately the timing is wrong so they can't go together. Check out

Sorry your best bet is driving, its about 2hrs 15 minutes from Scranton so you are probably a little closer. rt80 east to rt 280 thru the oranges and then your there. You could also go Pa rt33 south to rt 78 east to turnpike or parkway north. There is not a huge commuter pool to newark. Leave early stay late and you'll miss the bulk of the traffic.

There is at least this one company that does have shuttles to newark. I'm not sure what their website is but if you do a web search I'm sure you'll find it. Check it out.
