Thanks for the link! I usually hear it as Wilks-Berry and got used to say it that way. However, when I was new in NEPA, I had no idea.

lol what do I know I am from Greentown! but I think the article I posted meant the final sound was the same ending as in saute, I know they wrote as in mate but I think what they meant was like matte.

Wilkes-Barra ... that's how I've always pronounced it. I don't like to hear the 'berry' pronunciation. Even worse is Wooks-Berry.
