Spending my last Christmas in NY and I was wondering if there are any traditions, foods or activities specific to the North eastern PA region.

One nice thing we have done over the years is attend the " Spirit of Christmas" day in Stroudsburg.
On this night all the churches would be open. You follow the schedule and go in and out all of them........or only some is ok too. One church would have the Bell Choir......One church had trumpets playing and a great chorus. There were all types of Churches and all types of celebrations. I enjoyed that and so did our family.
Not sure if they had it this year though. It makes for a beautiful evening..........
