Our family has a nice cabin on Paupakan Shores in Lakeville. Great lake with a swim beach, fishing, and no gas motors. Really quiet and peaceful.

Some townships are making permitting quite a difficult and lengthy process as of late. Be sure to ask about wetland studies/wetland delineations when purchasing lake/stream/river front properties. (If planning to build as opposed to buy existing)

Harvey's Lake is very beautiful, but it is now being discovered by new transplants; housing prices are rising accordingly. I believe there are just under a half-dozen homes for sale right now in the borough in excess of $1,000,000, with some pushing $2,000,000!
I just passed a Maserati on my commute home from work this evening, so apparently money is starting to find its way into our area.
