White Haven is a nice, quiet area. Your kids will probably love to visit to go whitewater rafting nearby on the Lehigh River, mountain biking, hiking, etc. You're not far at all from the quaint downtown of Jim Thorpe or from the shopping/entertainment mecca of Wilkes-Barre.

I agree SWB. We do whitewater rafting on Lehigh river - its great fun. Lehighton and Jims Thorpe have some great places for biking and hiking. We have two dogs and have found some great countryside around here.

Make sure you read the list of rules in the 55 community.
Sometimes the amount of time a kid can visit is listed in your deed rules.
I have seen where they allow only 30 days........or simular timeperiod.
There usually is strict rules on visits and the length........
But, Wow..........that place looks quite nice.
