I watch FOX 5 local news most nights for my local news coverage. As with any year they seem to be the main cheerleaders when it comes to the Skins. I know, local team, yada yada yada. But they can really rub it in until I would think even many Skins fans tire of it. I'll admit right up front that I am not a fan of the Skins although I didn't mind them until Joe Theismann played for them. Is it just me or is anyone else already tired of the excessive coverage?

This year, I'm more interested than ever because of the pressure to change the name. Danny boy is going to have to get A+ efforts from his PR team; not so much from his football team!

Channel 9 is worse than 5.

They may do well, Griffith has a new coach-himself, so he'll be able to play how he likes. The GM, Dan Snyder, really knows football.

You want to be sick of the Redskins? Have a Vice Principal who yells "Hail to the Redskins" over the PA at random times during the school day when they win. That's why I liked last year's 3 and 11.

I dread the entire NFL season. I find football incredibly boring most of the time, and each game crowds out 3+ hours of regular programming. I flip from any local-news broadcast the minute the sports segment begins.

Is this post supposed to be satire?

No.

If anyone thinks Gruden is in charge they're delusional.

The Vice Principal I mentioned has done that for 8 years the day after every Redskin win.

Wait, the Superbowl wasn't last night? You mean they participated in a meaningless game the media is hyping it like it's the biggest game since 1992..
