The one's I'm seeing aren't so tiny. They're those big black suckers. Haven't seen them in large quantities though, just one or two here and there.

Yeah, let's poison the environment and eliminate all the beneficials because we're oogied out over a few harmless ants. It's no wonder stuff like honeybee colony collapse is happening.

my Minn relatives used to send us bottles of a product called Terro...karo syrup type fluid...put it on a piece of cardboard..be prepared for an influx..by next morning NOOO ants anywhere(couldn't buy the stuff here in Calif)...

now Terro is available here ...in an easier to use form...packets that crack apart ..I think about 8 per package...then open a little entryway on the packet..sorta looks like a mini driveway...takes a bit longer..but again..first an influx..then next am..all gone..we use them both here in OC and in our desert home..gets both the tiny and the big ones..

think I bought them in Target or Home Depot...package is orange...

great stuff..

Vinegar sprayed around doorways and such is an effective non-toxic control.

Thank you for the suggestion. Nothing harmful about that.

Yep we used Terro last year and it was the best product. Target didn't have it yesterday but my wife ordered some online.
