Can you believe WMATA is considering selling naming rights for individual metro stations?

This sounds way too confusing. How are we going to know where to get off the train if the station is called "Staples" or "McDonalds"? I suppose Schering-Plough could buy Clarendon and rename it Claritin. B&G Foods could buy the Wheaton Station and call it Cream of Wheaton. Maybe a religious group could buy the two Falls Church stations and name them "Go to Church East and West."
