The last storm brought us some friends! loll
The front of our house is a hill. We just moved here and hadn't met many people here yet, particularly because our houses are pretty far apart. My son who's in 1st grade, had a random visitor show up to our door and it happened to be a girl from his class whom we found out lives down and around the corner!

It was so nice because my son got to play with his classmate, I got to meet three moms who congregated in front of my house while the kids played, and it turns out that my hill was always a popular spot for younger neighbor kids to sled! How exciting. Can't stand the cold, but can't complain when it brought some neighbors out for me to meet!

Julz, that's so true. We live near a sledding hill, too. Sledding is one time of the year I usually meet a few neighbors I've never seen before. Even more so with snow shovelling! It's funny how winter tends to make us all hibernate, but after a storm you sometimes see people outside who hibernate the rest of the year.

So true, it seems! And my front yard IS the sledding hill! lolll, so that was an advantage to luring them in, I guess, haha

This morning I saw that the last remaining bit of my snowman has disappeared into the grass. I guess we didn't get snow yesterday, after all. Not that I'm complaining.
