Well the snow might stay north of us. Which is fine. Either way I'm so ready for some actual spring weather.

I don't think I would be really excited for a major snowstorm but a snow like we had Sunday would be okay, it was pretty, got pretty pictures of my daffodils and pansies in the snow, but then it melted and did not leave behind dirty snow.

I'm from Vermont. I'll take any snow I can get....preferably in the amount of feet. If it's going to be cold....might as well have snow. Now, either that or a nice 70 degree day.

I'll be ready for an April 1 snow storm if it is 70 degrees as the white stuff falls. And since it's April Fool's Day, there is a good chance that can happen. :-)

I don't understand how snow is going to fall if the low of the evening isn't below freezing.

1) There isn't actually snow in the forecast in the inner suburbs, and only a slight chance out by Leesburg and the elevated locations. There was more of a chance a couple of days ago, but it looks minimal now.

2) It can easily snow with temperatures above freezing. It just needs to be cold enough aloft with only a very shallow warm layer at the surface. That's why there was some snow and sleet in places yesterday despite temperatures at ground level being in the mid-upper 30s and even 40s in some cases.

Forget all the talk about March coming in like a lamb and going out like a lion. Lions are ferocious, and this is just chilly, wimpy drizzle.

It's raw--so I guess that means March is going out like sushi!
